Through this advanced Interior and spatial design course you will learn fundamental technical drawing skills and we will teach you how to interpret and draw floor and construction plans, sections and elevations. You will also familiarize yourself with technical drawing industry standards. You will carry out a building survey, understand drawing conventions, annotate, use draft equipment, and use these skills to prepare your own simple plan and section.You will then move on to small scale architecture, applying the drawing skills to create the plan and section for your own design, a three-dimensional axonometric drawing will also be taught to present your design ideas.
10 session classes, each class will be 150 minutes
Homework will be assigned after each class
No experience required
To learn basic drawing skills for architecture design
Understanding plans, sections, elevations and how to use Scale ruler to prepare scaled drawing.
How to analysis design research
Develop simple design concept into architecture
Experience and test different design methods ( physical model, sketch plans and elevation, three dimensional drawings)
Have an understanding of architecture history and master in the field.
Field trip to visit famous architecture in Toronto.
